Tacos or Hamburgers?

Tacos and hamburgers are both popular food that a lot of people eat, it could be for lunch, dinner, or even breakfast. They are both great fast-food options, and have their pros and cons.

I, Ksenia, prefer hamburgers to tacos because in my opinion they are more filling. Even though they have a lot of calories, they are great for games, parties, and hangouts. Tacos can be very messy because of their crunchy shell, on the other hand burgers are not as messy. A burger provides protein, iron, phosphorus, and several other nutrients. A hamburger costs $4.29 but for a tray of tacos that are small as your palm it is $13.99. If you are a vegetarian just like a taco a burger can be plant based so you can enjoy burgers either way. Even though tacos can be healthy, most tacos have 1,500 calories (about 120 minutes of running) and 60 grams of fat, and the shell itself has palm oil that contains high saturated fats that can lead to heart disease and chronic health conditions. A burger can help you because it prevents weight gain and enhances your fat loss by improving the metabolism of the body. As much as good burgers are you should eat them not daily, so you do not end up harming yourself.

I, Ananya, prefer tacos better than hamburgers because they are high in nutrients and are healthier. In my opinion, they taste great at any time of the day. There are many benefits to tacos, for example, they have a good balance in protein, fats, carbohydrates, provide vitamin C plus ample amounts of iron, and they can be a reliable source of protein and fiber. If you want to eat fast food, but you are on a diet, tacos would be a much better choice. According to a new study, the combination of the tortilla and beans can boost the production of beneficial acids in your gut. On the other hand, hamburgers are high in cholesterol and saturated fat, which can raise levels of cholesterol in your blood and increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease. Also, most hamburgers have up to 1,786 calories. That is about the amount you should eat in an entire day! Tacos only have 536 calories in them which makes them have less risks and better for your body. The buns on the hamburger have so many calories itself. They are filled with butter and ingredients that can be very unhealthy for your body to take in. Even if tacos hamburgers delicious, it’s not good to eat too much of any food.

In conclusion, both tacos and hamburgers have their pros and cons, but it’s our choice to take care of our body and make sure we are being healthy. This ends our debate.
